<p>• Forming group of interested people, voting for Coordinator and Executive
Committee, outlining general objectives and annual plan of action. <br>
• Start Yahoo Group for the community to meet and exchange information,
create logo.<br>
• Send official letter informing Braz-Tesol of interest in creating EduTech
SIG</p>

<p>• prepare for the convention<br>
• advertise the SIG through the chapters, institutions, teacher associations
and invite teachers to join (2006 free membership)<br>
• create a SIG blog and start building a list of commented resources/
projects to be shared with the wider ELT community <br>
• look for an EduTEch SIG space for synchronous online meetings and presentations
(Tappedin, Alado, Worldbridges or Learning Times)</p>

<p>• participate in the SIG meeting during the convention<br>
• advertise new SIG during presentation Networking the Network</p>

<p><strong><font color="#0000FF">August – December</font></strong></p>
<p>• promote an integrated use of ICT in the language class by creating
opportunities for sharing ICT practices and developing joint projects<br>
• organize and promote SIG meetings online and one annual F2F event together
with other SIGs / during the annual convention<br>
• offer short course for Teacher Associations/ Chapters/other SIGs (topic
to be decided according to needs expressed)<br>
• provide a forum for discussion on theoretical and practical issues related
to the use of ICT technology and ICT in ELT <br>
• help in setting up YahooGroups/blog for all BRAZTESOL chapters and SIGs
